Thanks to Skip...

Last Saturday, we ran in honor of Skip, who unfortunately, I will never get to meet.

For the past several years, Skip has hosted an annual breakfast for all of the participants to join in! I imagine, he attended many practices and was their praising and encouraging those who were out there running. All while battling Leukemia. Sadly, Skip lost his battle this past year.

After our run, we gathered for the Annual Skip breakfast, this year put on by his daughter in his honor. While sitting around the picnic tables, those of us who had never met Skip were told about his warmth and positive spirit all while battling such a huge fight himself.

So, Skip, I know you were there with us in spirit, and I know your daughter did you proud!
